A weekend in Lisbon

Nivel A21 min de lectura

Last spring my sister and I spent three days in Lisbon. We arrived on Friday evening and took the old yellow tram to our hotel in Alfama. The streets there are narrow and steep, so we walked slowly and stopped a lot.

On Saturday we visited the castle. From the top you can see the whole city and the river. In the afternoon it started to rain, so we went to a small café and ate pastéis de nata, the famous cream cakes of the city.

On Sunday we took a train to Belém. The tower was full of tourists, but the queue moved fast. We came home tired, with a hundred photos and a plan to go back in summer.
